Sorry Mickey Ds but folks
will be chowing down on
that Thanksgiving turkey
and Christmas ham for a while
by Nathan'ette Burdine: January 14, 2020

Poor Mickey Ds will be short on money for about two to three months there because folks are going to be spending their time chowing down on that Thanksgiving turkey and Christmas ham for a while.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are the two times during the year when folks stack up on food. Turkey sandwich, ham sandwich, greens, beans, peas, potatoes, tomatoes, YOU NAME IT! Folks will be stacking up on it, placing it in the freezer, taking it out, warming it up to take to work in the morning.

No stopping at Mickey Ds for pancakes, sausage links, eggs, hash browns, or a big mac in the afternoon. No siree. There will be no need to spend any money on number ones or number twos.

All the food folks will be eating will be in a Ziploc bag or a lunch bucket. I know there are those of you who are wondering what the kids will be eating. And just so you know, they’ll be eating what their parents are eating.

You want a Big Mac, have a Big Turkey. You want fries with that? Go and get those potatoes out of that refrigerdaire and pour ketchup on them.

You don’t need to go through Mickey Ds drive-thru when you can walk through the kitchen to the refrigerator.

Why buy warmed up food when you can warm up free food in your house instead?!
